Following the advice and directive given by Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih V, MKA UK have created the MKA Horticultural Society as a means to garner interest in Horticulture amongst the Khuddam.
The aim of the Society is to inspire within Khuddam & Atfal a passion in the science, art and practice of horticulture.
The objectives of the Society are to:
- Safeguard and advance the science, art and practice of horticulture for the benefit of future generations and the environment
- Create horticultural experts within MKA UK that can inspire others to garden
- To improve and benefit MKA UK’s health and wellbeing
- To improve food security and reduce waste amongst the Majlis by showing how easy it can be to grow your own trusted food source
- To help relieve food shortage amongst wider society
